The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System now accepts discounted free food requests for the 2020-2021 school year. Families can apply through SchoolCafé, now until the beginning of the school year. Applications must be submitted and approved each school year, regardless of the family’s previous eligibility.
Parents/guardians who feel their family may be eligible for loose or reduced meal benefits will need to apply online at www.schoolcafe.com The online app provides a safe and contactless application environment. Students who decide on the classic or CMCSS K-12 Virtual offer free discounted food.

Before starting the school year, CMCSS families have another food aid option:
Free food for children
CmCSS will continue to offer loose food to youth in Clarksville County through Friday, August 28, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. At noon at Barksdale, Burt, Glenellen, Moore Magnet, Central High, Northeast High and Northwest High Schools.
This service is open to all young people under the age of 18. Meals are distributed with a takeaway method. If possible, the child deserves to be provided to settle for meals. Meals cannot be eaten on site in accordance with USDA regulations. We inspire families to practice social distance and not to gather at food collection sites.
Each child will get a bag that will come with 4 foods on Mondays and Wednesdays and six foods on Fridays. Some foods will want to cool down and/or overheat for some freshness. This plan reduces the number of trips to and from distribution sites during the week.
The first day of the Clarksville-Montgomery County formula is August 31, 2020.
