The British logo Gosh! Food announced that it was making a five million pound investment in a new production facility as it was looking to expand its vegan, food-free operation.
Milton Keynes-based company says it plans to open its current plant in early 2021, with the expectation of creating up to 25 new production jobs.
Like the brand’s existing production site, the new 17,000-square-foot facility will be free of allergens.
According to Gosh! Food, the second site will provide it with the opportunity to expand its offering and to move into new categories, as well as help it to meet consumer demand.
“We firmly believe that food deserves to be as herbal as possible and to have a logo that prides itself on providing high-quality, tasty and perfectly herbal herbal products,” said Gosh CEO of Food, Jane Rayner.
“With 45% of grocery stores following or contemplating a plant-based diet, demand for herbal products has increased significantly. We take a look forward to proceed to develop our ability to satisfy calls and help stores the way we eat.”
“We are also excited about the opportunities to expand into a moment to create new jobs in an exceptionally difficult economic period.”
My god! Food also named Jahangir Khan, former charlie Bigham’s former innovation controller and category, as the most sensible leader in the category.
