Rumors are true: Taco Bell is making radical adjustments to its menu.
The fast food chain announced friday that it will remove 12 pieces from its menu, adding fan favorites like Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, Nachos Supreme and Loaded Grillers. Quesaritos will be removed from the menus of the places to eat, but you will still have to order them online and in the chain app.
Taco Bell’s new menu will take effect on August 13.
“While replacement is difficult, a simplified menu and an innovation procedure will give way to new fan favorites, continued progress in categories like herbal diets and even opportunities for the return of some classics for a limited time,” Taco Bell said in a press release.

Taco Bell also adds two new features to the menu in mid-August: a $5 Grand Nachos box, which includes chips, beef, fried beans, nacho cheese, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole and cream, and a $1 beef. Burrito
Rumors about menu clippings about vegetarian potatoes provoked negative reactions on social media even before Taco Bell showed the changes.
Taco Bell has hinted that the redesign of the menu may lead to new vegetarian features in the future.
“We know that some vegetarian dishes would probably have disappeared, but Taco Bell’s menu remains highly customizable,” the channel said in Friday’s press release. “Don’t look for the vegetarian symbol on the menus to indicate vegetarian products, and don’t forget that you can update any protein with beans on any menu.”
