The well-known restaurants in Leamington Spa according to Tripadvisor

The Leamington Spa has no shortage of smart stalls for dinner, 165 are on the list of restaurants on Tripadvisor and for a city of just over 55,000 inhabitants, there are many dining options.

And this applies to palates, with everything from vintage pub food to Kerala cuisine and tasting.

I listed the five restaurants with the highest rating at Leamington Spa that earned the highest ratings from Tripadvisor reviews.

They have their detractors, the ones who didn’t enjoy the fun in a specific restaurant, but many don’t mean much if the reviews are negative, which puts those five restaurants in the lead.

Echoes of artistic masterpieces and a variety of fish dishes purchased at the market that day, that’s what you would expect from La Coppola.

This Italian restaurant stands out for the use of Italian ingredients, such as Campania mozzarella and ripe tomatoes in the Sicilian sun. The menu is complete, as is the wine list: expect to find a variety of pastas, risottos and main dishes to satisfy the palates to the fullest. Oysters are popular with diners: “oysters just melt in the mouth,” a diner said.

Where: 86 Regent Street, CV32 4NS

Cuisine: Italian

Revised Comment: “This is an adorable place to eat for a special instance and propose oysters.”

Describing itself as a pub and steakhouse, Fox and Vivian is a small independent who focuses on locally sourced ingredients. The menu consists of burgers, ribs and, of course, steaks, and adds an impressive 32-ounce beef coast, which is a popular selection among critics, even the word “shared” is widely used!

Where: 32 Clarendon Avenue, CV32 4RZ

Kitchen: Steakhouse

Reviewer comment: “I’m looking for the best Sunday lunch. I found out on Fox and Vivian.”

Flavored with the Arab coastal state of Kerala in India, Kayal serves original dishes typical of the region, with dosas or a wide variety of seafood, meats and curry vegetables.

In fact, with such an offer, it may be prudent for the sadya thali option to give you the chance to savour the most productive of what the place to eat has to offer.

Where: Regent Street, CV32 5EG

Cuisine: India, Asian

Reviewer comment: “…this place serves up the most scrumptious fare.”

The purpose of Elma is to bring to the table the flavors and traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean. Visitors appreciate the “warm atmosphere”. Using local ingredients, the menu features classics such as moussaka, roasts and lamb stew.

You should have a summer garden for visitors during the warmest evenings and with the reception room above you can rent for personal events.

Where: 8-10 Augusta Place, CV32 5EL

Cuisine: Mediterranean

Critical Comment: “Traditional and tasty, Elma will never let us fall!”

Las Iguanas went from a casual bachelorette dinner in Bristol to a chain of restaurants across the country offering Brazilian, Mexican and Latin American dishes and, as one reviewer put it: ”amazing cocktails”.

Don’t expect a quiet night, it’s not the South American way, however, what’s going to take place is music and dishes full of nachos.

Where: 21 Livery Street Regent Court, CV32 4NP

Kitchen: South American

Revised: “I enjoyed the food here, the perfect tapas menu and the 3 dishes were strangely plentiful.”
